A high top that holds the ankle without stiffening it. The upper is 1.6 mm full-grain leather over a leather-lined collar padded to about 12 mm, and the ankle panel is one piece, so no seam sits where the ankle bone does. Eight eyelets and two speed hooks let you lace it loose to the ankle and tight above it. The sole is a cupsole with a 10 mm drop, a moulded EVA wedge and a solid rubber outsole. Tar black is the house colour with a Sulphur heel tab, Diesel is a dark green-grey, and the Sulphur colourway takes the acid across the whole upper. The leather stretches about a half size in the first month. Feed it twice a year and dry it away from radiators.
