Round waxed laces · three colours

One pair of round waxed cotton laces, 4 mm across and 120 cm long, cut for the Flagstone and the Towpath and for anyone who wants a thinner lace in a low top. Round waxed cotton holds a bow harder than flat does, so you will work the knot loose rather than pull it, and it runs through a round eyelet with less friction. The wax is paraffin worked through the fibre and the aglets are rolled brass. Three colours: Tar black, the Sulphur acid, and Chalk off-white, which will not stay off-white and is not meant to. Wash them by hand and dry them flat.
