The Flagstone is the wide one. The last is 4 mm broader across the ball of the foot than the Gutter, which is the difference between a shoe you tolerate at hour eight and one you forget about. The upper is oiled nubuck with a mesh panel behind the eyestay for airflow, and the collar is padded with closed-cell foam that does not soak up rain. The sole unit is a two-density EVA midsole over a rubber outsole, 12 mm drop, 26 mm stack at the heel. Concrete is a mid grey that hides city dirt, Oxblood is a dark red-brown, Chalk is off-white. Brush the nubuck dry, never wet, and re-proof it at the end of the winter.
